Rishi Kapoor recently visited Subhash Ghai’s Whistling Woods International to give acting lessons to aspirant actors in the making in the school.

Apart from many acting tips, he made some essential points. He insisted that it is very important for an actor to know and understand all aspects of film making.
"It is important for actors today to know all facets of filmmaking. For example understanding editing will help an actor in continuity and retaining an emotion for the next shot after the cut," he told the students.
This 56-year-old, coming from a family of quality actors, has spent over three decades in the film industry. "Acting is to put an effort to show effortlessness. However, this skill has to be honed over a period of time and actors need to work hard to earn success," he said about being a successful actor. He also stressed that: “The more you learn about the art of storytelling, the more it will help your performance.” His presence and wisdom would have surely inspired youngsters as they couldn’t have asked for more!

Ahmedabad had a sudden rise in temperature when sizzling Kareena set the stage on fire at Karnavati Club.

This was alive concert to promote ‘Kal Kissne Dekha’.
This movie directed by Vivek Sharma will be released in the coming week. This was the second promo show, the first one had Lara Dutta at Indore. As for the show at Ahmedabad, Jackky Bhagnani, Vaishali Desai, Sunidhi and Sajid (of Sajid-Wajid) were also present and performed with Kareena.
"Ahmedabad went crazy for Kareena. ...30,000 people showed up! And when Kareena came on stage they lost control. About 400 people rushed to the stage. Fortunately we whisked her out of the back entrance," reported Vashu Bhagnani.

Actress Nandana Sen injured herself badly in the hips while doing a fight sequence for the movie 'Prince'.

Being one of the most after actresses after Rang Rasiya, the beautiful daughter of Amartya Sen took up a challenging role in this movie. Vivek Oberoi plays the lead role in this film.

Nandana needs a surgery to get cured of the injury, but she has got a temporary surgery done to complete the shooting of this movie. She will then go in for a proper one. Nevertheless, we can be sure she is in pain. When asked, she replied, "It’s part and parcel of film’s shooting. Can’t be avoided at any point."

The first season of Dus Ka Dum has made a great impact on people. Salman’s style of hosting the show, his questions and of course – the celebrities.

We had some fun shows with celebrities like Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Rani Mukherjee, Lara Dutta, Rakhi Sawant, Govinda, Imran Khan along with cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh.

Season two is coming up soon, and this one is coming up with double the zeal. It is really rare to see Karishma and Kareena together on a show – but Dus Ka Dum has done it! The first show is said to have the two Kapoor sisters on the show. They usually don’t agree to make it together but we guess this time it is all because of Salman!

Salman has worked with both of them. With Kareena her has worked only in Kyon Ki so far and will be seen in the upcoming flick main Aur Mrs Khanna. He has given quite a few hits with Karishma in the past.

When asked she confirmed: “I’m not dating anyone right now. If I did, I wouldn’t hide it. But whatever the status of my heart, I’m certainly not the kind of person who would send out emails to people about my love life.” There was also a rumor which said that she had informed her team members about the break up. She was quite annoyed with that as it was not true.
She continued: “I will never date a married man or an actor. That rule for my heart is still applicable. To that I’ve added one more group of people who are taboo territory to my heart - Cricketers. Going by my mantra of never mixing my personal life with my professional interests, I’ll never date a cricketer either. One doesn’t go out with people whom one works with; it’s as simple as that.”

The latest news about Aamir that’s been going around is that he has agreed to do an disco item number for the movie Delhi Belly. Delhi Belly has nephew Imran Khan in the lead role, for which the young actor has worked very hard to get into a lean look.

Be it his own movie or his nephews, Aamir always makes sure he is taking the right steps towards optimizing publicity of the movie. Ghajini has been a recent blockbuster thanks to that. He said: “I miss Feroz saab a lot. His death is a personal loss. Fardeen had told me about his illness. I was emotionally attached to him because my father too died of the same illness. I still remember when I met him for the first time and he kissed and hugged me. Whenever I met him after that he always showered his love on me and treated me like his son. He is one of the most beautiful people I have met in the film industry.”
He was indeed a tough man with a soft and loving heart.

Satish Kaushik shunned the media off by stating: “I’ve been getting so many calls from people asking me whether I have cast Vivek Oberoi in Tansen along with Abhishek and Aishwarya and the answer is no such thing has happened, I’ve not approached Vivek, Salman Khan or even Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for the film. I had only mentioned Abhishek’s name saying he is someone who can play the role well as he also has a certain star status and fan following.”

Glamorous actress Juhi Chawla is one lady with a crazy schedule! She actually shifted base from South Mumbai to Andheri be able to get closer to Goregaon, where Jhalak Dikhla Ja is taking a place.

Ever since they have broken up, we know very well that Kareena hasn’t spoken a word about Shahid or the reason of their break up. Well, time went by, Saif and Kareena came together and they were perfect for each other. In other words, Kareena moved on.

Now, the world might feel that she ditched Shahid to be with Saif, but what makes people say that? And what is it that still brings the three names come up when there is a mention of Shahid Kapoor?

One of Kareena’s friend said: “Kareena has been quietly watching the tamaasha unfold. Lately, almost every time Shahids name cropped up she too was mentioned , and not in a positive manner. To portray her as the restless woman who jilted Shahid for Saif is so unfair. Only Kareena and Shahid know what really happened to tear them apart.”

There is constant comparison amongst the three – so much so that there is a buzz about Shahid doing a fabulous job in Kaminey, much better than the original choice for the role – Saif.

Saif reacting to this news said: “Normally, I wouldnt go by any conspiracy theory. But this does seem a little too much. Why are Kareena and I dragged into other people's lives If someone talks about Kaminey, then Im forced to say the role was first offered to me. But do we have to resort to this silly game of oneupmanship We're all mature adults here and we should behave accordingly.”

Kareena, who is more bugged than one can imagine, stated: “Why am I being dragged into all this I don’t like my name to come up in connection with other peoples lives. I’ve moved on and I wish Shahid Kapur would also do so. Beyond that I dont wish to say anything. Nothing can separate Saif and me.”

Rani Mukerji’s dad was rushed to the hospital last week due to a kidney problem. Unfortunately, things got worse initially as there were wrong medications given. But that was detected at the right time set right as well. However, it was quite a bad dip for the entire family.

Friends like Sanjay Bhansali and Karan Johar stood by Rani. Balancing her personal and professional life perfectly, Rani did not let anything come in between her and her work. In spite of this mishap, she attended the last day’s shoot of Yash Raj’s Haddipa with Shahid Kapoor. When asked about how she felt, she also added: "Being a working girl has its advantages and disadvantages. While I can provide him with the best possible medical facilities, I can’t give my father the amount of time I want to."

Disheartened by the dismal performance of Kolkata Knight Rider's performance in IPL, Shah Rukh Khan is back in Mumbai. He casted his vote and is also looking forward to the upcoming wedding season. Shah Rukh as always, is in great demand even this season.

Shah Rukh Khan has supposedly bagged the offer for performing in the wedding of famous builder Kanti Govani's nephew. Initially, Akshay Kumar had got the offer, but King Khan replaced him as as Akshay quoted a high figure. Sources say that Rani Mukherjee, Bipasha Basu and Celina Jaitley will also be performing with Shah Rukh. They say his fee is between 3 and 4 crores. And there's more lined up for SRK. He will get down to planning a party for Hollywood star Gerard Butler who's visiting Priyanka Chopra.
