Katrina Kaif’s visit to the sets of Veer has created quite some rumour around. Someone on the sets said: “Zarine Khan is making every effort to get friendly with Salman. However, Salman Khan is in a different mood ever since the shooting at Film City began. Incidentally, he turned aloof just when Katrina Kaif started visiting him on the sets. Considering that Katrina seldom visits Salman’s sets, this new development has caught the unit of the film off guard.”

We also get the news that Salman doesn’t look interested in Zarine; he rarely speak to her. “Often Zarine pulls up a chair to sit near Salman Khan but he does not pay attention. When Zarine tries to talk to Salman, he only replies in monosyllables. This only discourages her further. And if Katrina Kaif is around, Salman Khan only pays attention to Katrina by spending all his free time with her,” said one of the sources.

Katrina, on the other hand answered, “Yes, I did go to the sets of Veer but only one day. That’s because Anil Sharma, the director of Veer is my friend.”

The producer claims that Katrina and Zarine get along pretty well. Now, is Katrina really getting possessive or is this again cooked up news?

South Indian sensation Asin Thottumkal is moving lock, stock and barrel to Mumbai from Chennai. She has almost zeroed on a house in Bandra.

The latest attraction on the silver screen said to the media: "I've been travelling non-stop. I had no time to look around and find a place. But now we're finalising a place in Bandra. Asin’s parents have given up their jobs and home and will move to Mumbai with her. "Both of them gave up their jobs to be with me. Mom is a doctor. She has taken voluntary retirement. She manages my home now. And dad had seven business enterprises. He gave them up to look after my career. Right now I'm quite a handful and worth more than all his business ventures," she said happily.

She did not feel that alien to Bollywood while shooting for Ghajini as almost the entire crew was from the South. So, in that case, London Dreams was like a first proper Bollywood experience. And now, the audience can expect more of her as she is to become a resident of Mumbai. Asin will move into her new home in January 2009.

He got a stomach infection due to something he ate that didn't suit him. He'll be discharged from hospital in two-three days," said Kareena. While Ghajini is scheduled to hit screens on Dec 25, there's an SMS that is offering 'Shock' n 'Surprise'. The SMS goes like this, 'Aamir's girlfriend is killed and he sets out to take revenge on killer. Finally, it's revealed that culprit is none other than Aamir himself'. It might be a rumour by someone who had watched Christopher Nolan's 'Mementoes' which was Murugadoss's inspiration to make Tamil Ghajini. Whatever it might be, the fans are quiet disturbed hearing this news.

Asin, Aamir's heroine in the film had stated in an interview that the climax sequences in the film is not the same as the original version.

Tamil 'Ghajini' had antagonist in dual role and maybe Aamir could have made it as one baddie. Surya, who was the hero of Tamil version doesn't know who had killed his lover even after bumping off the twin baddies.

Let's wait and watch whether the news spread around is true or not. Many fans have started betting about the climax prior to Ghajini's release.

Mallika Sherawat has just returned after a globetrotting spree. She was in Malaysia where she was rubbing shoulders with the Hollywood filmmaker Oliver stone. She was invited as a guest speaker at the Global Brand Forum 2008, which was held in Kuala Lumpur last week.

Mallika was part of an expert panel where she shared her thoughts & comments with Oliver Stone & Dato' Farah Khan, President of The Melium Group, the retailing and brand managing of international lifestyle and fashion labels.

The Bollywood hotty impressed everyone at the meet with her insightful & original views about the exciting challenges and opportunities facing the movie business and the impact of Indian films in brands and business.

The discussion was moderated by international TV interviewer Riz Khan.

About her exciting endeavor, Mallikka says; "It was a huge surprise for me to be invited to the global forum along with Oliver Stone - What do we have in common, I asked myself. I guess for better or for worse we both have our own brands - and as Oliver Stone says - people either love or hate his films, but certainly have a strong opinion about him, his politics and his films."

I guess its the same for me - there are young people around the country who have embraced me, and on the other hand there are lots of people in the country and in the film industry and in advertising who think I'm too controversial, radical etc., for their liking", she adds.

"Besides that he has a genius who has achieved so much and I've just begun my tough climb. But to share the same stage with someone who's made JFK, Platoon, Natural Born Killers and U Turn - All I can say is Wow!", she appeared very excited when she said that.

While most people seem to believe that there is some kind of animosity between Katrina Kaif and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan because of their common link Salman Khan, this might go to prove it wrong. Abhishek and Amitabh are cordial with Salman, and Katrina doesn't seem to have any hard feelings towards Ash either.

In a recent interview, she said something really gracious about former Miss World. As reported by several websites, Katrina was announced the most Googled person in India.
As for beating Aishwarya in the race, Katrina said, "I can't be compared with her...she's iconic!"

Katrina is now signing films with more challenging roles and the audience is also beginning to expect more from her. "They (the characters) are nerve-wrackingly challenging. But I need to go to another level. After watching me in these films no one, not even me, will say I'm just being glamorous," Katrina said.

Though at times I do feel like a meat shop," John said in an interview.

About the reactions that he came across in Dostana, “…women have reacted as strongly to me in Dostana as men. Some have reacted to the sensuality; others to the fitness. For all those Deepika Padukone fans out there, the promo of Chandni Chowk to China is on, and she is looks stunning as ever. Her new Chinese look is well received and her double role in the movie has become the talk of the town.

Speaking about her dual character, Deepika says, "It's actually a double role and no publicity gimmick. I play two different characters in Chandni Chowk to China, one is an Indian called Sukhi, and the other is a Chinese girl, Meow Meow. The Chinese character is a pro at martial arts for which I had to undergo four months of rigorous training before the film started."

To get the authentic the Chinese look, it was at first suggested that she should use adhesive tapes, but when the harmful effect of that was known, the idea was dropped. "My makeup artist came up with a simpler solution and used the eyeliner in such a way that it gave my eyes the Chinese tweak," she laughed.

Directed by Nikhil Advani, Chandni Chowk to China stars Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. Bollywood veteran Mithun Chakraborty and Hong Kong veteran Gordon Liu have played major roles in the movie.

The film is slated for release on 16th January 2009.

Mumbai, Dec 9 (PTI) Id-ul-Zuha (Bakri Eid) celebrations were a low-key affair in Bollywood with biggies like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan preferring to stay away from festivities.

Many actors including Aamir, Zayed, Farhan Akhtar, Sajid Khan, Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar wore black bands to protest against the terror attack on Mumbai.

Salman immersed himself in shooting for 'Veer', a film he has scripted, at Film City and exchanged Eid greetings with the cast and crew of the film.

His family is known to celebrate all festivals with family and friends in a big way but they have refrained from doing so this time.

Shah Rukh and Aamir are preparing for the release of their eagerly-awaited films 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' and 'Ghajini' respectively, but are not promoting them in a very lavish manner.

Aamir wore a black band to protest against the "life of terror which people have been forced to lead", while greeting people on the occasion.

Saif Ali Khan is out of the country shooting for his upcoming film and Katrina Kaif is away from Mumbai shooting for Rajkumar Santoshi's 'Aajab Prem ki Gazab Kahani' with Ranbir Kapoor.
